Students are safely socially distanced, and sneeze guards are in place, separating the students. Students and staff participate in weekly randomized COVID-19 testing!

• There is a FULL-TIME Nurse on staff.

• Building Response Team Leader, Assistant Principal, Mr. Melvin Martinez, ensures the safety of every student.

• Our Building Response Team members, greet our gleeful students each morning with a "sunny" hello and a quick temperature scan!

• Students use designated hallways and staircases to get to and from classes.

• The teachers wait by their classroom doors, while breakfast is securely taken to each classroom. Lunch follows the same pattern.

• Students frequently participate in hand-washing and mask breaks.

• For a mask break, students enter one of three "Safe Rooms" for a ten-minute break; the student returns to class, and safe rooms are cleaned for the following student.

• Dismissal is organized and efficient; students walk safely to their morning entrance to exit the building.
