ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Our afterschool program proudly features a National Competition Ballet Team, offering dedicated young dancers the opportunity to train at an elite level. Under the guidance of our  experienced instructor, Ms. Miranda,  students will refine their technique, enhance their performance skills, and prepare for prestigious national competitions. This program emphasizes discipline, artistry, and teamwork, fostering both individual excellence and a strong sense of camaraderie. Our piano program builds on the musical foundational skills These include music theory, music reading, and composing their own music. Students participate and perform in the annual Music Recital at the end of the year. Through fun and engaging lessons, students will learn basic piano techniques, explore simple melodies, and develop a love for music. Our supportive environment encourages creativity and builds confidence as children discover their musical talents.

P.S.257 is the only Elementary School in District 14 to have a Marching Band. The Marching Band provides each student with tools to help achieve their potential as they develop confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills .Open to students of all skill levels, this program offers a dynamic and energetic environment to learn and perfect your drumming techniques. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you'll engage in group practices, develop teamwork, and perform in various school events and competitions. Designed specifically for preschoolers, our program features a variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, outdoor play, and early learning exercises. Our caring and experienced staff are dedicated to providing each child with personalized attention, ensuring they feel happy and supported. It is an enriching afterschool experience that fosters creativity, social skills, and a love for learning! 

In collaboration with Woodhull Hospital and Recycle a Bike, a non-profit organization, our club offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the joy of cycling while promoting health and wellness. Join us for group rides, and exciting events as we explore scenic routes and build camaraderie among fellow cycling enthusiasts.
